CONTROL and AGENCY. Or lack thereof. This theme comes up everywhere, it is most obvious with the necrotic arts - using corpses like puppets - but also comes up in Violette’s reign. She is puppeted by her coven, and it’s said that the spirits within the items may be puppeting their wielders. 👻

UNDEAD CHIMERAS are Violette’s speciality. She grafts monsters and men, and demons and dragons together to form terrifying monsters. In her Queen era, they are more geared towards battle. In her Hag era, they are more creepy and sinister.
